However, there are times when on-body carry is either not possible or not practical. For these circumstances, we had to think outside of the box - and we've innovated again. 

DEFENSIVE FEATURES:

• Level IIIA or greater protection from our trusted partner RTS Tactical for NIJ-Certified protection (removable)
  
• Deployable armored front flap for class-leading vital organ coverage when down or double-plate protection when up
• 18" of vertical ballistic coverage with armored front flap deployed 
• Quick-adjust straps with extended and oversized pull tabs keep the bag snug to your body (front or back) even when moving quickly
• Secure your IWB holster inside the bag with a central support tether (seamless transition from on-body to off-body without leaving the holster)

OFFENSIVE FEATURES:

• Quickly draw your holstered handgun from within the bag for consistent, swift, and safe weapon presentation
• Extended zipper pull tabs make it easy to find your mark in a hurry, open the passage, and draw your holstered handgun (Right handed draws only)
• Access spare magazines from the front carrier sleeves for fast reloads, helping you stay in the fight longer and with shorter interruptions

The armor sleeves on the Ballistic Backpack can accept almost any ballistic inserts with 10x12" or 6x8" dimensions. Some ballistic insert must be used for the bag to offer bulletproof protection. The bag is not armored without a bulletproof insert.
