Updated internal belt loops on the Carrier Retention Waistband provide more space for appendix carry and make it easier than ever to install the inner retention belt.

NOTE: A removable Retention Belt is required for concealed carry. Carrier Sweatshorts are compatible with all Arrowhead retention belts (selectable above) and almost all 1.5” belts from other manufacturers (Hunter Constantine, Kore. Groove, Etc.)

Care Instructions: The Sweatshorts come pre-shrunk, but as a garment made from natural fibers, we strongly recommend delicate laundering. Do not over-dry.

Holster Compatibility and Support
  • All “Carrier” apparel offers sufficient support for all handguns up to 5 lb / 2.3 kg in IWB holsters when a removable 1.5” retention belt is installed and set up properly. See our set-up guides here. 
  • Yes, we’ve tested a Desert Eagle. It passed the jumping test without sag or bounce.
  • The OmniCarry belt offers more support than the Rapid Clasp belt. We recommend OmniCarry if you have an oversized carry gun.

I'm a heavier guy, so I wanted to try them out to see how they'd work. I've carried appendix for 10 years with a few different Glocks (30S, 48, 45 Gen 6) and these shorts (plus the omni belt) are surprisingly easy to carry in even with my gut. The big star is the omni belt, but the 6" inseam shorts are very comfortable for lounging or running into town quick. I definitely recommend these shorts, but get that omni belt!

Great shorts, high quality material. Only things I wish they would change in future editions is to provide a little more space in crotch/butt area and then both pockets being fully zippered would be awesome to prevent phone/wallet/keys sliding out.

I like these shorts a lot. The way the cotton is woven feels very durable and like it will last a while. The waistband is a little tight but I like my waistbands on the looser side. The tightness is helpful for carrying, so I won’t fault these shorts for that. The pockets work well and the pocket zipper and front zipper work just fine. I appreciate the zippered back pocket. It is a bit of a trip remembering how to install the belt in the inside loops upside down but I like a good challenge haha

For running and other athletic activities I had to use regular gym shorts with drawstrings that could only handle micro compact pistols, but these shorts have changed that. I can now carry larger pistols with larger calibers. Very great product!

With these sweatpant shorts, athletic exercise in the gym and on the trails finally allows me responsible concealed carry for personal protection and all the flexibility I need for weights, cardio, and outdoor fun. The fabric has that luxury feel of great sweatpants! The pockets are perfect for cellphone and deep for hand-warming, keys, a modest rock collection, and a few treats for the dog. As always, with Arrowhead Tactical, the hidden belt with the buckle offset holds my appendix carry holster and Kimber Ultra Carry CDPII. I highly recommend all the Arrowhead Tactical items! Everything is excellent!
