The Ballistic Backpack is designed to securely hold your holstered handgun in your IWB holster while keeping the handgun positioned for a quick, consistent, and safe draw. It also can protect you with two armored panels, and it lets you carry up to 4 spare magazines with easy access.

Well, that got us thinking. We knew that our first tactical bag had to be ultimate edge that’s hidden in plain sight.
Let's talk about the defensive and offensive features of the OMA Ballistic Backpack that give you the edge in a life-threatening situation, worn on your back or front.
On Defense
Ballistic Inserts inside the backpack provide Level IIIA or greater protection for vital organs. The soft armor panels we offer are lightweight and flexible to ensure you can move quickly and comfortably.
Unlike basic armored backpacks, the OMA Ballistic Backpack has the ability to increase coverage of your vital areas by deploying the armored front flap, which also reveals the spare magazine carrier. More on that later.
Since you'd rather be facing a threat than having your back turned to it, we knew that getting the bag to your chest and keeping it there was essential. Quick-adjust straps keep the bag snug to your body even when moving quickly. You can easily tuck them away when they aren't needed.
On Offense
Rapidly deploy your securely holstered concealed handgun from within the bag. A central support tether provides the perfect mounting platform for any IWB holster that works with Arrowhead clothing, ensuring a seamless transition.
Extended zipper pull tabs make it easy to find your mark in a hurry, open the passage, and draw your holstered handgun. Right handed draws only.
With the front armored flap deployed, you can access spare magazines from the carrier sleeves for fast reloads, helping you stay in the fight longer and quicker. This is the same tactic utilized by magazine carriers on armored vests.
And it's still a good bag, right?
Of course. We acknowledge that 99.9% of the time, the OMA Bag will be used as your gym bag, range bag, or other mobile storage needs, so it still has to be excellent at the everyday.
The bag offers ample storage for gear and laptops, including an expandable central pocket, a side pocket with hydration sleeve, and front pocket with storage compartments for small items.
The Ballistic Backpack also offers two removable pistol storage bags with internal magazine storage. Of course, it features lockable zippers throughout.

I love the concept of this backpack! Your company is always so creative and always thinking outside of the box. I was wondering if you will consider making a backpack for left-handed people?
Color matters; you need to offer colors that don’t scream security, law enforcement, paramilitary or concealed carry… I had black when I retired, and have frequently been searched, while others with grey, cobalt blue or other non-triggering colors weren’t. My new ones are silver grey & cobalt blue. I haven’t been ‘searched’ even when carrying concealed with them!
Explain the testing.
Looks pretty legit, I’d like to see woodland camo also as an option. The design looks good, the concept seems very approachable and training with it sounds fun. I’m curious about the armor though, IIIa is pretty good, where is the armor coming from (brand/manufacturer)? Is it removable? Can you show us a field test of the backpack in action, including putting some rounds through the armored portion? Ballpark price point?
I will say I’m very intrigued but need to see more before considering, more info. I love your products, I have several sets of sweatpants and shorts and joggers.
