The technique of drawing through the pocket is limited by the physical size of the hand pocket openings. Extremely oversized handguns may not permit a smooth draw, especially when outfitted with large red dot sights or extended magazines. Standard sized weapon lights should not impact the draw. Always practice your draw with an unloaded weapon when assessing compatibility with the Heavyweight Hoodie.
This one certainly feels more heavyweight than the standard version and has a very soft lining inside. Noticeably thicker than the standard version as well. I think this one will feel a lot better in the 40-50 degree weather but still have a little bit to go before I can test that out.
This product is absolutely amazingly comfortable!! Straight out of the package my wife felt it and immediately wanted to run off with it! The hoody Is super warm and drawing from it is absolutely flawless with no snags on any firearme I drew!
This product runs small. I bought a three XL, which is my normal shirt size, and it is tight on my body. And ironically, the sleeves are somewhat loose. I would think that with this design, you’d want the sleeves to be a bit tighter than the rest, but that’s my thinking.
Now the above said the product does work as advertised. Which these days is always a plus. I can appendix carry my full-size Springfield echelon and draw it using the concealed zipper without any hiccups. Does take some practice though so don’t skimp on the practice. Honestly, I would recommend using a compact or subcompact just to make things easier on yourself, but you can use a full-size pistol with this product.
In terms of the quality well I’ll give it to them there. It is actually fairly quality in terms of the feel and the appearance. It is also pleasantly warmer than I expected it to be. So points there.
Honestly, due to how tight it is on my body, only 4 out of 5. Also the loss of a star is due to your choice of shipper. Ya need to stop using a gig economy shipper and use an entity that provides real jobs (meaning benefits) to their employees.
The product is amazing. Seems like they drop ship the item from overseas the way the shipping went. Due to the way the shipping was I would not buy anything else.
Love the hoodie my only suggestion would be for the zipper in the pocket to be the opposite im right handed when I draw my service weapon if the zipper was to the right allowing the left hand to pull the zipper back to open it would be easier for me
I have been a long-time supporter of Arrowhead Tactical Apparel, and that hasn’t changed. The Heavyweight Concealment Hoodies I purchased (one black and one green) are made of high-quality material, and the athletic fit is exceptional—true to size and very comfortable.
However, I did encounter an issue with the magnet system. After wearing both hoodies for just one day, I noticed that one of the four magnets was missing, and upon inspection, two were completely gone while the remaining two were starting to come loose. The material covering the magnets appears to be thin and prone to wear, which compromises durability.
I contacted Arrowhead Tactical Support immediately, requesting replacement magnets so I could repair them myself. Instead, they went above and beyond by sending me two brand-new hoodies, explaining that I likely received a defective pair. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred with the replacements—the magnets began to work their way out of the fabric. I ultimately had them sewn in for a permanent fix.
Despite this design flaw, I want to commend Arrowhead Tactical for their outstanding customer service and commitment to making things right. Their responsiveness and willingness to replace the items without hesitation reflect a company that truly values its customers.
Slight issue with the hoodie. Gave this as a gift for Christmas. Second time wearing it two of the magnet inserts opened up and the magnets fell out and one was lost. Looking at the way it was made it was sealed using fabric glue and no stitching. Definitely, a design flaw otherwise love the products.

Bought two of these as gifts, and both men said they really liked them! Quality felt good to me and color selection was nice (bought grey and green). Delivered on short notice during the holiday season!
Received my pullover for Christmas. This item is made of high quality material. The video is 100% accurate the way the draw is presented. I’ve practiced my dry fire and the draw is quick and smooth. I’ve practiced one handed (right) and standard two handed draw with right and pull up with left. Both are efficient. The real sweet spot is the “jump” you get from concealment.
The jump is the speed from the surprise of having your hand on the gun before the criminal can realize that they just “Found out”.
This is amazing - I saw an ad on Instragram and wasn't sure at first but checking out the website i was convinced. I found a style I liked and yolo ordered it. Absolutely will be buying more items from Arrowhead Tactical - smooth and comfortable fit as well as very viable concealment drawing without too much of an issue. Couple of dry fire draws and you'll be able to draw in any circumstance! 100% recommend!
Once I received it I washed and dried it. Immediately the magnetic buttons fell off. The size also seems to run small (tried it on before I washed and dried it)
This is the second top one gotten from arrowhead and both the shirt and hoodie have run small.
The return for store credit policy is also not satisfactory.

Hey Robert, we would be happy to exchange that hoodie our for a bigger size if that would make you more comfortable. The Black Friday sale is the only time during the year where we have a more restrictive return policy, but we still permit exchanges even on sale items.
The quality is nice. But if you order it order a size or two bigger its a little tight
Love everything about it except in the 2 sizes i bought 2 magnets fell out of each jacket the first day. Overall great concept just needs a little refinement.
