The shorts use an upgraded Carrier Retention Waistband with more support and more comfortable holster placement options. Our patented Waistband will securely support compact to full-sized handguns in IWB holsters at any position around the waist.
The Training Shorts Mk.II have dual zippered hand pockets with premium YKK zippers for secure storage of small items. A functional zipper fly offers easy relief on the go.
The shorts retain the tough, lightweight, quick-drying fabric that you loved on the first-gen Training Shorts. The shorts now offer greater comfort for a wider range of body shapes and an improved range of movement for your athletic feats.

Holster Compatibility and Support
- All “Carrier” apparel offers sufficient support for all handguns up to 5 lb / 2.3 kg in IWB holsters when a removable 1.5” retention belt is installed and set up properly. See our set-up guides here.
- Yes, we’ve tested a Desert Eagle. It passed the jumping test without sag or bounce.
- The OmniCarry belt offers more support than the Rapid Clasp belt. We recommend OmniCarry if you have an oversized carry gun.

These training shorts are not only very high quality material, they also have a great fit and design. The retention belt is completely hidden and it WORKS. Gun feels more secure in these shorts then in a lot of jeans or tac pants I’ve worn. They conceal very well and they are COMFY. For reference, I am 6’1” and weigh about 200 lbs and I got a size Large. Highly recommend!

Awesome!! They run small. I'm typically an XL and a 3xl fits me. But they're great!
6’2 235 lb 36 inch waist. Ordered an xl , would have been more comfortable in an 2xl! Also, the Omni retention belt, does kind of jab into your skin where the strap runs through it. But I did wear these shorts and the belt in 90 degree weather and cut trail down a mountain for 3 hours with a chainsaw and not once did my holster come loose, so they do work! If the Constantine belt was cheaper I would have gone that route in hindsight or even the magnetic belt just because of the uncomfortable feeling where you run the strap through the belt loop, it forces it into your body. I have tried both ways of running the strap to no relief.

They are awesome just way tighter than the joggers for 2xl. The shorts I should have went with a 3xl

Each of our products has its own size guidelines, and we indicate on those any nuances in fitment (i.e., runs small with an athletic fit) to help you find the right size.

Good quality shorts. They run a little smaller than actual size for the waist. So I recommend sizing up one size. Very satisfied with the purchase.

The shorts fit absolutely perfect! The length is just right, and the material and waistband feel very high quality. I’m 6’0”, 195 lbs., and ordered a size Large—it fits perfectly. I also ordered the Omni Retention Belt and am carrying a Shadow Systems CR920 in a Kydex holster. The setup is extremely comfortable to wear with no printing at all. I originally ordered just one pair of shorts to see how I liked them, but after putting them on and wearing them with my everyday carry setup, I’ll definitely be ordering more. Highly recommend!

Extremely comfortable, and surprisingly sturdy with the retention belt. Can run / jump all I want and nothing moves. Love how the shorts look too! Would wear them without the added utility honestly

The shorts are great honestly, they allow for comfort for runs, lifting, hiking, and dressing comfortable overall with the ability to carry while doing all of the above. In addition if you have comfortable clothes that are stylish but do not have belt loops you can wear the shorts underneath without sacrificing the ability to carry.
Can say enough good things about these carry shorts! Works perfectly even with my full size Eshelon 4.5 comp. Loaded with light magwell and Steiner MPS red dot!
Should've sized up, but they still fit great carrying
I recently picked up a pair of Arrow Tactical shorts, and they’ve been great so far. The material feels durable without being too heavy, and they’re comfortable enough to wear all day. The fit is true to size with plenty of flexibility for moving around, whether you’re at the range, working, or just out and about. The pockets are well thought out and hold gear securely without feeling bulky. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable, functional tactical shorts.

Should have sized up but still a good pair of shorts
Have you guys considered putting belt loops on the outside as well as the inside to allow more carry options? Im not exactly sure how I would go about it but it would be a cool option if you wanted to wear some arrow head tactical but carry OWB
Works well just runs small. Definitely recommend going one size up. Solid shorts though
Love the shorts. Problem is I have 3 or 4 pairs now all size medium. One of the mediums fits much smaller than the other pairs. Can't wear them. It seems like it might he a QC issue. Wesley

Store owner replied: Thanks for this feedback, Wesley! All of our shorts of the same size are manufactured to the same specs when new. What can happen - especially with older pairs that have been through many wash / dry cycles - is that the strong elastic in the waistband can deform over time. This is especially likely if they have been over-dried at any point. We recommend closely following the care instructions on the tag to prevent this as much as possible. If it's a newer pair that hasn't been washed / dried which fits way smaller than the others, then the size was probably mislabeled. If that's the case, please contact our support team for warranty support.
